Rekha’s Journey to Self-Reliance
Rekha, a 32-year-old mother of two from Rajkot, struggled after her husband fell ill. Through a women’s empowerment initiative supported by our partner organization, she enrolled in a vocational tailoring program.
Within three months she learned to design, stitch, and manage her own orders – she now runs a home-based tailoring business supporting her children’s education.
